Trenches Inc. has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to each of the products, services and websites offered by Trenches Inc (collectively, the “Services”).
What we collect:
- When you register on TrenchFantasy.com, or purchase other products or services through our Services, we ask you for personal information (such as your name, email address and zip code). We also request credit card or other payment account information which we maintain in encrypted form on secure servers.
- We collect certain information on an automated basis, including your IP address, operating system, and browser information to help diagnose problems with our server and to better administer our Services.
- We also employ cookies, small text files stored in your browser, to collect information about your use of our Services, including the pages you visit. Cookies enable us to store your login information to ease browsing, as well as improve the quality of our products and services. Depending on your browser type, you can probably set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you the chance to decide whether to accept it. However, please note that disabling cookies may prevent you from taking advantage of certain features of the Services.
- We track the choice of products and services purchased by subscribers (such as subscriptions to Fantasy Football Weekly, TrenchFantasy Commissioner, and Fantasy Football Index). We use this information to help us determine the types of content that interest our Players.
- We also collect demographic and profile data on the Services.
How we use the information we collect:
We use your personal information for the following purposes:
- To communicate with our Players;
- To attribute content that you make available on the Services;
- To contact you about your content;
- To process payments and transactions;
- To communicate offers from our company and certain business partners;
- For the purposes for which you provided the information;
- To respond to customer service inquiries;
- To improve the content and navigability of the Services;
- To generate anonymous and/or aggregated reporting;
- To customize the advertising and content you see, including the display of targeted and contextual advertising;
- To enforce the legal terms that govern your use of the Services.
Persons who assist us in providing the functions described in the previous section may have authorized access to your personal information.
We may anonymize or aggregate your information for business purposes, including for reporting and research. Anonymous and/or aggregated data does not identify you, and we may use and disclose such information without limitation.
Disclosure to Third Parties
We may disclose your personal information to non-affiliated third parties under the following circumstances: when we have your consent to do so; to selected partners or other third parties who offer products or services we think may be of interest to you; when we respond to a subpoena, legal order or official request; or when we believe you have acted in violation of the legal terms that govern your use of the Services.
In the future, we may sell some or all of our assets. In such transactions, customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets. In the event of a sale of our assets including our database, customer information will be transferred.
Public Forums: Trenches, Inc. hosts chat rooms, forums, message boards, and/or news groups for the enjoyment of its Players. Please remember that information disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution if you decide to disclose personal information in these areas. Use and disclosure of personal information you disclose in these areas is not covered by this Policy.
Security: The Services employ industry standard measures to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.
Choice/Opt-Out: Our Services provide Players the opportunity to opt-out of receiving promotional communications from us, or from our partners, at the time of registration. Players may also request that personal information be removed from the TrenchFantasy.com database by email at: privacy@TrenchFantasy.com, or by regular mail at the address below.
Ad Networks: We may allow ad networks, such as third party ad servers and ad agencies, to serve advertisements within our web pages. We may also place web beacons for these companies within our pages. Because your web browser must request these advertisements and web beacons from the ad network’s servers, these companies can view, edit or set their own cookies, just as if you had requested a web page from their site.
Links: The Services may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites.
Correct/Update Account: Players can modify information previously provided to TrenchFantasy.com by clicking on the "My Profile" link found at the top of most pages, or by email at: update@TrenchFantasy.com, or by regular mail at the address below.
California Privacy Rights: California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits our customers who are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please send an email to privacy@TrenchesFantasy.com with the subject “Your California Privacy Rights.”
