Management Team
Team Trench
Eric Koivisto-Founder, www.TrenchFantasy.com
Eric is the man with the plan for TrenchFantasy. He developed the concept and is building out the business as he also builds a team of experts to help him bring his vision to reality. With TrenchFantasy.com, Eric Koivisto is mixing his experience as a veteran of start-up executive teams and management of Fortune 500 global brands with a passion for pro football. Prior to founding TrenchFantasy.com, Mr. Koivisto served as an executive at two Ignition (Seattle) Corporation-backed businesses: VP of Brand Management at MarketRange, developer of subscription-based community platforms, and VP Marketing and Business Development at Avogadro. Between Avo and MarketRange, Eric served as Executive Producer of Dopamine, a feature length, award-winning film selected for the 2003 Sundance Film Festival. Before the recent entrepreneurial endeavors, Eric enjoyed a 6 1/2 year career at Microsoft where he oversaw worldwide advertising and managed advertising for the Business Solutions Group.
Eric is the owner of “Eric’s Team,” in his fantasy league. He apparently spends all of his creative energy on TrenchFantasy and not on naming his team.
Paul Magnone-General Manager
Paul is the glue that holds TrenchFantasy together with responsibility for all facets of the TF site including front and back end, content, user experience, strategic 3rd party relationships and customer support. Paul ensures TF customers have a world-class online gaming experience while encountering a totally unique approach to fantasy football. Over twenty years with IBM, Paul held positions in sales, business development and strategy within IBM Sales and Global Services units. He has led business development, acquisition and alliance activities and established new profitable consulting and system integration practices in emerging growth areas for IBM’s $50B+ services arm. Know what he does now? Gets to talk about football, while building partnerships and expanding business development opportunities for TrenchFantasy.
Paul joined IBM in sales working with IBM's largest Telecommunications clients on network management solutions, customer care, billing and Internet solutions. He also held sales and management positions driving growth initiatives including extensive work with Venture Capital firms in the US, Israel and Europe.
Paul has one patent awarded and several others submitted in the area of virtualization. He received a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Technology Management from Stevens Institute of Technology. Even Paul’s fantasy team name is somewhat cerebral, “The Devil’s Advocates.”
